Mission understanding. Product judgment. Working systems.

From mission insight
to working software.

I’m Cal. I bring nearly two decades in defense and intelligence to building software that helps people turn difficult information into better decisions.

How the work gets done / 2026

Agent work needs
an operating system.

I've built software products and the operating environment that helps me keep them running. The important part is not the number of prompts. It is knowing what ran, what failed, what needs review, and what happens next.

Bridge + Fleet

Supervision, not autopilot.

Bridge coordinates work in an always-on environment. Fleet is the native iOS companion I built to inspect run histories, review outputs, approve or request revisions, receive notifications, and reconnect to work after interruptions. I own the product decisions and the review.

That practice has produced 25 reusable playbooks and 50 documented engineering lessons. Different products use different model and tool APIs.

A recurring design principle

The answer needs
somewhere to stand.

Across the portfolio, the hard part is the system around the model: evidence, data quality, permissions, continuity, cost, and the moment a person needs to make a decision.

The person behind the work

Mission experience.
A builder’s instinct.

I’ve spent nearly two decades working across defense and intelligence, from Army service to technology and growth leadership.

I’ve worked directly with government customers to define mission requirements, plan and deliver technology demonstrations, and translate complex technical capabilities into practical solutions. I’ve led multidisciplinary teams responsible for turning those requirements into working systems that support the mission.

That experience shapes the problems I choose: a mission need that is hard to translate, a decision buried in fragmented data, or a daily frustration that deserves a useful product.

I founded SailQuery LLC and independently conceive, design, and ship software with development agents. I own the product direction, review the work, and stay accountable for what reaches the user.
